Course Description: 
This program will cover ethical implications and guidance in negotiating and litigating corporate agreements; updates and trends in New York contract law and issues for consideration with regard to the use of boilerplate provisions; and the changing landscape of restrictive covenants.

CLE Information:
North Carolina participants are invited to join by live fully-interactive audio and visual simulcast teleconference accompanied with Outlook Online Meeting in a classroom setting. Accreditation for 2.0 CLE credit hours will be applied for through the NC State Bar Continuing Legal Education Board. Accreditation for 1.5 credit hours will be applied to the “General” requirement and 0.5 hours will be applied to the Ethics requirement. Attendance is confirmed both visually and by sign-in/sign-out sheet. There must always be more than one (1) attorney attending the Charlette classroom presentation.

New York participants are invited to join this live presentation, located at Corning, NY, in a classroom setting. This course is appropriate for both newly-admitted and experienced New York attorneys and has been approved in accordance with the requirements of the New York State Continuing Legal Education Board for 2.0 credits. Accreditation for 1.5 credit hours will be applied to the “Professional Practice” requirement and 0.5 hours will be applied to the Ethics requirement. Attendance is confirmed both visually and by sign-in/sign-out sheet.

Utah participant is invited to join by live fully-interactive audio and visual simulcast teleconference presentation, accompanied with Outlook Online Meeting in a classroom setting. This course is appropriate for experienced New York attorneys and has been approved in accordance with the requirements of the New York State Continuing Legal Education Board for 2.0 CLE credits. Accreditation for 1.5 credit hours will be applied to the “Skills” requirement and 0.5 hours will be applied to the Ethics requirement. Attendance is confirmed both visually and by sign-in/sign-out sheet.

Throughout the entire course, NC, UT, NJ and NY attendees will be able to (1) participate in live interactive discussions, (2) visually see each other in their respective conference room, and (3) view the live PowerPoint presentation as presented by Peter Abdella, Erika Stanat, Jessica Clemente, Tom Anderson, Kyra Keller, and Jerry Brydges of Harter Secrest & Emery LLP. Each conference room location will have a sign-in/sign-out sheet and evaluation forms. The evaluation forms must be completed at the end of the course prior to departing the classroom and submitted to the CLE coordinator.

There is no fee for this course.

NO FOOD IS ALLOWED IN THE CONFERENCE ROOM DURING THE PROGRAM PRESENTATION.
