More Flexibility for Your Complete Fiber Optic Network

The fiber dome closure family has earned its reputation for reliable protection of fiber optic facilities – delivering a full line of closures and accessories. Now, it also includes new models and configurations for more flexibility to meet the complex needs of today’s fiber optic networks.

Intended to meet the needs of anyone using fiber optic splice closures, the FDC is designed for butt applications and ideally suited to support loose tube single fiber deployments, the FDC can also support ribbon splicing where needed.  Featuring a fixed O-ring sealing system along with innovative latching mechanism, the FDC requires no special tools, which reduces tooling costs and allows for ease of installation and re-entry into the closure.

The FDC utilizes the external cable assembly module (ECAM) (anchor to section lower in the page) built-in cable entry port system, which allows true plug-and-play capability.  This reduces installation and labor costs because the cable preparation and installation are completed outside the closure body – allowing the tech to add/remove cables from the closure without breaki9ng the cable seals of previously installed cables.
