Thanks to the gel-based sealing body, the FRECAP 2 fiber optic closure offers a high degree of flexibility when it comes to cable and tube configuration, both for initial configuration and for subsequent additions or changes. The innovative locking system provides even better protection for the fibers during operation.
The use of multiple entries expands the capacity of the eight individually and independently accessible ports, for example to securely manage up to 32 microtubes with an outer diameter of 7 mm.
FRECAP 2 uses Corning's MAX single and multifiber management system, thus allowing not only optimal storage of the fibers but also a high degree of flexibility for moves, adds and changes (MAC). The secure guidance and separation of the individual fiber pairs also provides special protection for the fibers in operation while work is being carried out on adjacent fiber pairs, for example.
