Employee Vibrant Community Grant: Foothills Performing Arts

Foothills Performing Arts

Foothills Performing Arts uses public theater to support community outreach initiatives in the Lenoir, North Carolina area

June 2018

In celebration of its 65th anniversary, the Corning Incorporated Foundation announced sixty-five $1,000 Employee Vibrant Community Grants. Foothill Performing Arts is one of the recipients.

Foothills Performing Arts (FPA) combines theater, music, and dance into performances in the Lenoir, North Carolina area. It also integrates teaching into the quality performances. FPA is one the few opportunities for adults to participate in performing arts in Caldwell and Catawba counties. FPA is dedicated to enriching other community outreach initiatives, including using performances to raising funds for a local women’s shelter and support a family dealing with tragedy. This grant will be for general program support.
