- Confirm reels are labeled as Corning material and validate quantities, material type (steel, wood, plastic) and size of each reel.
- Confirm associated type and size meet minimum truck quantity (see table in Appendix B in the Corning Reel Return Document).

Step 2: Complete Expeditors International (EI) manual or online expo system booking form.
- Manual forms used to schedule any reel transportation for any reel return shipment
- Exp.o booking tool requires login & password to be issued by EI - to be used by locations scheduling 12 or more FTLs/month)
Step 3: (Manual booking form only) Submit completed booking form.
- Attach the completed manual booking form and send via email to CLT-OutboundTCS:
- clt-outboundtcs@expeditors.com
- Confirmation of receipt will be received from EI within 1 business day.
Step 4: Booking Confirmation & BOL.
- Booking details with carrier, EI booking number and certificate of carriage (BOL) will be provided within one business day.
Step 5: Ship Reels.
- Load reels and provide driver with BOL.
- Driver is responsible for properly securing reels prior to shipment.
