We are upgrading our ERP to enhance our business operations, standardize our business processes, and improve our data, which will allow us to better serve our customers.

Account Information

Will I have to use a new customer number?
You are able to continue using the number that you order product with today. Canton's Customer Service team will be able to enter it accordingly. You may see the new SAP Part Number on certain labels.

Will my pricing change?
Pricing will not change as a result of Corning's new ERP system.

Will I need a new contract?
No, a new contract is not needed.

Will my sales contacts change?
No, your sales contacts will not change due to the new ERP.
Forms

Will any of my forms change?
Forms are changing. The layout of the information is changing, but the Corning legal entity name, of Corning Canton, and the customer should not be changing. You will also start to see an internal Corning SAP part number on the form that will be different than the number used in the previous system.
Existing Orders

I have open orders with Corning Canton. What will happen with those? Will I receive a new order number?
All open order lines with Corning Canton will move into our new ERP system. Once the order is in the new ERP it will receive a new order number; however, you can continue to reference the original order number, as it will be tied to the newly created number in the system.

Will this effect my ETA on current sales orders?
All attempts will be made to ensure that the current dates on current orders will be preserved. However, there is a possibility that your planned ship date may change as part of the migration and our CSR team will communicate those impacts to you directly.
New Orders

Is there a black out/shut down period?
Ordering and shipping will be in a blackout period from July 1-5, 2025. We are working to minimize any inconvenience these changes may cause you. Any orders planned to ship on these dates will either be shipped prior to or right after the blackout period. As always, our customer service group will keep you informed of any changes related to these orders.

Will the email that I currently send my orders to be changed?
No, the email address to send orders is not changing.
