• Download the Corning DNA Studio Set Up file, using the .exe file for Windows operating systems and the .dmg file for Mac operating systems.
• Open the Corning DNA Studio Set Up file, which will launch the Corning DNA Studio Setup Wizard that will walk you through the installation process. Please note that your system will be checked for the prerequisite files as part of the installation process and you may be prompted to install the prerequisite files.
• It is recommended to restart your computer after installation.

Please uninstall/remove Corning DNA Studio software following the instructions below.

• If you are using a Windows operating system, locate Corning DNA Studio in the Apps & Features settings or in the Control Panel Programs & Features. Select uninstall.
• If you are using a Mac operating system, remove Corning DNA Studio by dragging it from the Applications folder to the Trash can.

• The latest firmware version is v1.2.18 (file name MatribotFW_v1.2.18).
• To check the current firmware version on your Corning Matribot bioprinter, navigate to the Utilities menu on the bioprinter LCD screen. Scroll to the bottom of the menu and select Firmware Version to view the current firmware version.

• Download the Corning Matribot bioprinter firmware .hex file.
• Connect your computer to the Corning Matribot biprinter using the supplied USB cable and turn on the bioprinter by pressing the power button.
• On your computer, open Corning DNA Studio software and connect the Corning Matribot bioprinter if it is not already connected.
• Open the Utilities menu under Tools and navigate to the Update tab.
• Press Browse and select the firmware file.
• Press Start Update to perform the update procedure. The update will take a few minutes. Do not disconnect the USB cable or power down the printer until the update is complete.
