The globally renowned award is a seal of quality for outstanding design and innovation, awarded by iF International Forum Design GmbH, one of the oldest independent design institutions in the world. The award will officially be presented during the iF Design Award Night on April 28 in Berlin.
The FRECAP 2, a Corning Optical Communications innovation, earned the award in the Product Design discipline within the Telecommunications category. The distinction places Corning at the top of the competition among nearly 11,000 submissions from 66 countries, which further underscores the competitive nature of the award.
