This seminar will cover the fundamentals of 3D cell culture and its importance in studying tumor microenvironments and organoids for modeling development and disease.
In addition the following topics will also explore:
- Learn practical tips for optimizing culture and handling conditions for scaffold-based 3D models, including helpful Matrigel practices.
- Explore protocols to generate assay-ready 3D models using Matrigel, spheroid plates, Elplasia microcavity technology, and Transwells
- Discuss the considerations for working with tissue-derived and pluripotent stem cell (iPSC)-derived organoids.
- See real-world examples of advanced 3D assays and high-throughput screening approaches that can inspire new ideas.
