Music connects people across geographies and cultures and is more collaborative than ever, thanks to our mobile devices and the networks that connect us.

Corning® Gorilla® Glass is proud to play a part in the musical revolution that is happening on hand-held devices around the world, and is pleased to be the title sponsor of this year’s  Peace Through Music: A Global Event for the Environment organized by  Playing For Change (PFC) and the United Nations (UN).

This virtual event brings together renowned musical artists and world leaders to unite the world in taking action for a sustainable future. Music videos featured during this event will include footage that has been shot on the Google Pixel 6Pro, which features Corning® Gorilla® Glass Victus® - our toughest Gorilla Glass yet.

Gorilla Glass has also taken the long view when it comes to environmental protection – specifically around conserving gorillas and their ecosystems.

For more than a decade, Gorilla Glass has proudly supported the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund International, a nonprofit organization focused on saving endangered gorillas, protecting their environmental habit, training conservationists, and helping and educating the people who live near them. Gorillas are critical to conserving biodiversity in their environmental habitats and people rely on these habitats for their food, health, and income. By protecting gorillas, we also protect our planet.

For several years, Gorilla Glass has partnered closely with PFC to showcase the importance of music as a universal language and its ability to connect us as a global community. To support PFC’s effort to inspire and connect the world through music, we’ve donated devices to their music and art schools for children in developing regions, leveraged their music in Gorilla Glass videos, and sponsored key PFC and UN events such as the 2020 Peace Through Music Concert Series.

Corning Gorilla Glass is proud to lend its support to the Playing For Change Foundation and sincerely hope you’ll join us. The Playing For Change Foundation supports music education programs for children in areas that are rich in cultural traditions but limited in economic resources.

Programs are free to children and, for many, it is the first and only opportunity they would have to learn music. And, for some, it is their first opportunity to attend a school of any kind. To date, the lives of more than 16,000 children and community members, across 11 countries, have been improved through the efforts of the Playing For Change Foundation, its 15 schools and educational performances through Playing For Change.
