I joined the Corning team during my senior year of college. I started with an internship in the construction department. I was lucky to join the team at the beginning of the new product development, so there was a lot of work and the opportunity to learn from others. Initially, I was responsible for modifications of the construction documentation. I learned the whole process of launching and marketing a new product from conception, first projects, through prototypes and research, to the final product. I am grateful they worked around my school schedule during my internship so I could balance work and my studies. From January 2018, I took the position of a Junior Constructor and added new responsibilities. I completed many projects improving the quality of products through construction modifications. The company supports my development by giving me the opportunity to participate in training courses. Six Sigma, MS Project, and Communication in business are some of the course I completed while employed. In July 2019 I was offered the position of Constructor, furthering my career. In this new role, I am excited about the new projects and tasks awaiting me.
