  • Additional technologies for aerospace and defense, hyperspectral imaging, and microwave interconnectivity

“We are excited to provide this new virtual experience,” said Dave Velasquez, vice president and general manager, Corning Advanced Optics. “One thing we have learned through this pandemic is the importance of virtual connections, and Advanced Optics is the business making these connections possible by providing products that enable smarter, faster consumer electronics. Though we are not able to have face-to-face interactions with our customers at large industry events at this time, the content presented through this virtual platform will provide an opportunity for people to browse our portfolio of capabilities for advanced semiconductor manufacturing and beyond.”

Corning Advanced Optics leverages Corning’s extensive experience in glass science and optical physics to solve customers’ toughest optical challenges through customized design and cutting-edge materials and systems. Corning’s products are embedded and critical at nearly every step of the semiconductor manufacturing process and support emerging industry trends that enable faster streaming and engaging consumer electronics.
