An above-grade closure designed for up to 864 fusion splices. SLiC® fiber aerial closures protect fiber optics installed in above ground areas. SLiC closures allow outdoor ambient air circulation, draining away condensation from the splice while protecting fiber connections from direct sunlight and weather.

MPE closures are thoughtfully designed to incorporate individual strain-relief, sealing of all cables, and quick-release clamps for easy re-entry. A smaller form-factor than the UCA series, this terminal closure can support subscriber drops or be used as consolidation point for multiple preterminated terminals in a star topology.
