The UCAO MS terminal, the industry leader for preconnectorized FTTH networks in Latin America, comes with fully mechanical cable entries and is now available in a new version. In addition to the hardened connectivity provided by OptiTap® connectors, it is now also available with internal SC APC connectors for field-connected drops or for use on the optical splice terminal. The UCAO MS terminal family fits the needs for multiple FTTx network applications, from access network splicing to preconnectorized networks.
The IP68 environmental protection of the terminal allows installation in an aerial network (pole, cable, or wall) or underground (manhole or directly buried). Aligned with the quick-and-easy connection of drop cables, the totally mechanical cable entries simplify cable access and allow for faster, more efficient deployment speed.
