Sustainable Smart Building Networks

Sustainable Smart Building Networks Webinar

The building sector accounts for nearly 39% of the annual greenhouse gas emissions globally where 28% is associated with building operations and 11% is expended by building materials and construction, known as embodied carbon.

As more companies adopt an Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) framework, they are actively looking for ways to achieve reduction in both the operational and embodied carbon of their real estate investments, striving to achieve net-zero carbon goals.

This webinar will explore the effect that a FttE network has on the life cycle assessment of the Corning Optical Communications Headquarters in Charlotte, NC.

The analysis, which was done in collaboration with HKS Architects and the Corning Sustainability team, shows the environmental advantage of integrating a FttE network design which presents itself as a low carbon, climate-resilient building solution.
