For Proven Performance Choose Corning® DuraTrap® AT Filters
Vehicle and engine manufacturers worldwide are striving to improve the fuel efficiency and performance of diesel engines while meeting soot particulate mass and particulate number emissions limits under real-world driving conditions. Our Corning® DuraTrap® AT HP (high porosity) and DuraTrap® AT LP (low porosity) filters have proven their performance and durability in millions of vehicles.
Corning DuraTrap AT HP Filters For Higher Wash Coat Loads – Enabling Integrated NOx Emissions Control Solutions in Light-Duty Diesel Systems
Integrating SCR catalysts on diesel particulate filters is a leading approach to meet emerging challenges with a compact, fuel-efficient, high-performance solution.
DuraTrap AT HP filters are designed with a higher porosity and optimized microstructure. Corning’s innovative asymmetric cell technology (ACT) option enables low backpressure at high washcoat loads and excellent filtration efficiency under all driving conditions. The filter shape can be optimized for systems with space constraints and diverse configurations.
Corning’s aluminum titanate material provides low thermal expansion to enable durable monolithic construction. Our monolithic design allows:
Corning DuraTrap AT LP 300/10 Filter for Low Backpressure
The extrude-to-shape monolithic design can be produced in a variety of sizes and optimized for systems with space constraints and diverse configurations. Its thin walls and low porosity allow for better fuel economy, lower CO2 emissions, and higher engine performance. But also to maintain thermal and mechanical robustness, resulting in high soot mass limits.
