- manage your registration for a webinar
- send marketing communications emails to notify you of upcoming webinars, product announcements, and sales or marketing messages/updates based on your freely given consent.
Right to Withdraw
You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. Please note that your withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on the consent before its withdrawal, and complete deletion of all copies of your personal data cannot always be guaranteed.

Recipients / Categories of Recipients of your Personal Data
Personnel of the following Corning departments will have access to your personal data on a need-to-know-basis:
- Sales & Marketing department of Corning® Fibrance® Light-Diffusing Fiber
- Sales & Marketing department of Fibr8.com b.v., a distributor that works with Corning
- Sales & Marketing department of Royal Huisman, a Fibr8 customer
Your personal data will be processed on behalf of Corning by the following data processors:
- Cisco Systems, Inc. (170 West Tasman Dr., San Jose, CA 95134 USA) (Cisco WebEx Event Center)
Intention to Transfer Personal Data to a Third Country
Your personal data will be transferred to the US and will be stored on servers of Corning Incorporated and its data processors in the USA and other third countries outside the EU/EEA. When your personal data is shared within the Corning Group, Corning safeguards data transfers by the use of a set of Binding Corporate Rules (BCRs). You may request a copy of Corning’s BCRs by sending an email to: privacy@corning.com.

Automated Decision-Making
Corning does not intend to use your Personal Data for any kind of automated decision making, including profiling.
Period of Storage
In the event that you consent for your Personal Data to be processed for purposes of future marketing communication emails, your Personal Data is stored for a period of five years. If you provide consent only for your Personal Data to be processed for purposes of registration for the webinar, your data will be deleted promptly after the webinar is complete.
If you withdraw your consent, we will erase your Personal Data without undue delay.
