Thousands got the chance to experience "A Day Made of Glass" firsthand at the 2016 Consumer Electronics Show (CES). The event – where influential companies and hot startups gather to show how their brands are shaping the future – was the perfect environment for Corning's new fully immersive booth.
In the recent past, the company has focused its CES efforts on demonstrating the durability of Corning® Gorilla® Glass. This year, the booth expands on what Corning specialty glass enables – helping ordinary surfaces gain extraordinary capabilities.
"We've used our optical and glass science capabilities to dissolve the boundaries between the virtual and the physical," said Jeff Evenson, senior vice president and chief strategy officer.
"For CES 2016, we are demonstrating how the innovations and advancements Corning has made over the past five years are enabling us to actually build what we envisioned in 'A Day Made of Glass.'"
