18-port: Distribution/Continuity Terminal
The UCAO Multiport Terminal with 18P is equipped with one 1x2 asymmetric/uneven splitter, which feeds the pass-through port that feeds the subsequent terminals, for network continuity. It also has a 1x16 splitter that feeds the 16 subscriber connection ports.

9-port: Last Terminal on the Chain
The UCAO Multiport Terminal with 9P is equipped with one 1x16 splitter for subscriber connection, designed to be used as the last terminal on the chain.
