The new Corning Matribot bioprinter is a breakthrough benchtop device that enables you to dispense and print with temperature-sensitive hydrogels such as Corning Matrigel® matrix and Collagen without cold blocks, ice buckets or cold room, as well as hydrogels that require ambient temperature. Unlike other bioprinters, the Corning Matribot bioprinter uses a syringe-based extrusion platform with a temperature-controlled printhead, insulated nozzles, printbed that can be heated, and a UV LED system, all staged in a small footprint.

If you’re ready to turn up the volume on your spheroid production, then take a look at new Corning Elplasia plates. Their microcavity technology simplifies high volume spheroid production and lets you generate and culture thousands of spheroids per plate under uniform culture conditions.

A high volume of spheroids in each well produces more signal per well without increasing spheroid size. Additionally, more spheroids means increased data points.

Support consistent and robust growth of 3D cell cultures with Corning Matrigel Matrix-3D Plates

Corning Matrigel matrix-3D plates are a ready-to-use solution available in 96-well and 384-well formats. Matrigel matrix is pre-dispensed into each well to support both spheroid and organoid models in a high throughput environment where ‘on-top/sandwich’ and ‘embedded’ workflows are desired to generate 3D cell cultures.

Now there’s an optimized ECM that reduces the need for time-consuming screening, while providing the reproducibility and consistency essential for organoid research. Corning Matrigel matrix for organoid culture is verified to support growth and differentiation of organoids. Each lot is measured for matrix stiffness, a property that is important to organoid workflow. It’s qualified to form stable “3D dome” structures commonly used in organoid culture. And it’s been demonstrated to successfully grow organoids from both healthy and diseased cell origins.
