The FlexNAP™ System in Action

Douglas FastNet was looking to rapidly deploy connectivity to keep Central Oregon connected and bring fiber to the people. By using the Corning FlexNAP System, Douglas FastNet had services ready to connect customers in one week, versus the 6-8 week timeline that traditional splicing deployment techniques require.

Guadalupe Valley Electric Cooperative (GVEC) used the Corning FlexNAP System to deliver broadband and electricity to underserved communities in Texas. GVEC's goal was to bring fiber to 80% of their underserved market by 2025, and as of 2023 they've already achieved that goal.

Sebago was determined to deliver symmetrical speeds and reliability to 550-home Frye Island surrounded by Sebago Lake. Using FlexNAP allowed Sebago to build and activate the entire northern network in just five days.

The City of Fairlawn needed to upgrade to a fiber network to keep existing enterprises local, appeal to new business, and support residents. With FlexNAP, the gigabit network was installed in just 12 months and delivered reliable Wi-Fi to 3,000 homes, 300 multidwelling units, and 800 businesses.

GoNetspeed wanted to improve the speed of deployment and bring fiber to the people in the Finger Lakes Region, and they did so by using the Corning FlexNAP System. This deployment took three weeks, compared to past deployments, which took up to six months.
