Building Fiber Optic Backbone

Solutions for every part of your optical local area network

What is building fiber optic backbone?

What is building fiber optic backbone?

The building fiber optic backbone is the pillar of your in-building network.  It requires higher-bandwidths, at greater distances as it interconnects multiple networks through the Main Distribution Area (MDA)/ Main Distribution Frame (MDF) and the Telecommunication Rooms (TRs) / Interconnect Distribution Frames (IDFs) on each floor.  Fiber optic cables should be used to support the higher bandwidth and longer distance requirements of backhauling the entire networks IP traffic and providing access to the Wide Area Network (WAN).

All fiber optic links require cabling, hardware, and connectivity.  The only thing that changes is the environment in which they are installed.  Considerations for in-building networks would be fire rating (plenum or riser), pathways, transition points, termination methods, distance and bandwidth requirements.

We offer the most comprehensive and innovative line of fiber optic solutions for in-building applications that are available at local distribution channels and designed to be compatible across product lines, easy to install, and deploy with minimal downtime. We are here to ensure that you have the products, resources and services you need for your next project.

Scalable Network

Product Availability
Unplanned downtime is inconvenient and costly.  Partnering with a manufacturer that provides local inventory ensures that your network is up and running with minimal impact to your customers

Reliable

Installation speed/deployment velocity
Time is money!  We provide solutions that are engineered to install quickly with minimal training reducing labor cost and downtime.

Cost Effective

Space Constraints
Managing and routing cables through less than ideal pathways present installation and performance problems. Our innovative bend-insensitive fiber exceed performance standards when proper bend radius is not maintained making installation errors a thing of the past.
