2001 – The first Corning plant in Łódź is established.

2002 – Production begins at the plant.

2007 – The plant is moved from Łódź to Stryków.

2007 – The research and development department in Stryków is opened.

2008 – Corning receives a Gold Medal from Intertelecom and the Ministry of Infrastructure Award for ClearCurve™.

2010 – The testing and qualifications laboratory is moved to Poland. In this laboratory, products are tested and qualified for customers.

2011 – Corning Poland signs a collaboration agreement with the Technical University of Łódź.

2011 – The optoelectronics laboratory on the Technical University of Łódź, which was co-financed by Corning, is opened.

2013 – Optical Communications in Poland wins the Solid Employer Award

2014 – Optical Communications in Poland is awarded the High-Quality Internship Award for our internship program “Possibilities Become Real.”

2014 – Corning wins second place in a Safe Work Organizer in a contest organized by Work Inspection.

2016 – Bus travel becomes free of charge for all production employees.

2017 – Corning Poland passes 2,000 employees.

2018 – The second Corning telecommunications equipment factory in Stryków is opened.
