Robin was trained as a molecular biologist in Heidelberg, Germany, where he also received his Ph.D. in virology. After roles in environmental protection and SARS Cov-2 diagnostics project manager, he became a Field Application Scientist, first for Next-Generation Sequencing and Forensics and, since 2023, for Bioprocess at Corning.
