Wendell P. Weeks has served as Corning’s chief executive officer since April 2005 and chairman of the board since April 2007. He has been a member of the company’s board of directors since December 2000. As CEO, Weeks has focused on creating new growth drivers and building a bigger, stronger, and more agile company.
Dr. Jaymin Amin was appointed senior vice president and chief technology officer in June 2022. In this role, Amin oversees Corning’s Research, Development, and Engineering functions. He is responsible for advancing the company’s innovation portfolio – creating important growth opportunities that stem from a complementary set of three core technologies, four proprietary manufacturing and engineering platforms, and five Market-Access Platforms (MAPs).
Stefan Becker was appointed senior vice president, Finance, and corporate controller in December 2021. In this role, Becker leads the Operations, Staff, and Science & Technology Finance teams. In addition, he was named principal accounting officer in February 2022, leading the Accounting, Compliance, and Reporting team. Becker’s focus is on business partnership, talent development, and accelerating the digitalization of Finance to provide insight, drive growth, and deliver value for Corning.
Li Fang is senior vice president, Corning International, and New Business Development, Solar. In this role, Li Fang leads both of Corning International’s units while partnering with Market-Access Platform and corporate leaders to deliver strategic growth plans, ongoing business and financial performance, and staff functional initiatives. He is also responsible for partnering on solar investment opportunities to advance Corning’s position in the solar and semiconductor markets.
Jordana Kammerud was appointed senior vice president and chief human resources officer in July 2023. In this role, Kammerud is responsible for setting the strategic direction for Corning's people and culture investments to continue the company's longstanding position as a premier employer globally.
Eric Musser is Corning’s president and chief operating officer. As COO, Musser is responsible for leading Corning’s five Market-Access Platforms (MAPs) to meet operating objectives and deliver financial and operational performance targets. In addition, Musser leads Corning’s international regions as well as the Global Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, and Safety functions. Under his leadership of Operations, Corning is focused on meeting customers’ needs, maximizing market opportunities, and enhancing collaboration and integration throughout the company.
Hal Nelson was appointed Executive Vice President in May 2025, and will assume the role of Chief Operating Officer (COO) upon Eric Musser’s retirement. In his new role as COO, he will manage the company’s Market-Access Platforms to meet operating objectives and deliver financial and operational performance targets. Prior to his promotion, he had responsibility for the Automotive, Life Sciences, and Solar businesses and for pursuing growth opportunities in these markets.
Michael O’Day was appointed Senior Vice President and General Manager, Optical Communications, in September 2024. In this role, O’Day has end-to-end responsibilities for the Optical Communications Market-Access Platform, including Optical Fiber and Cable (OFC), Optical Connectivity Solutions (OCS), and Optical Commercial Operations (OCO).
Edward Schlesinger was elected executive vice president and chief financial officer in February 2022. Schlesinger is the chief steward of Corning’s financial health, overseeing the Finance and Investor Relations functions.
Soumya Seetharam was appointed senior vice president and chief digital and information officer in November 2022. In this role, Seetharam is responsible for leading the strategic direction of Corning’s global Information Technology function and evolving the company’s digital footprint. She will drive operational stability at market-competitive costs and progress technology capabilities to advance Corning.
Lewis Steverson is Vice Chairman, Executive Vice President, and Chief Legal & Administrative Officer. Steverson advises the CEO, Board of Directors, and Senior Leadership Team, and oversees the Law Department, Government Affairs, Aircraft Operations, Global Health Services, Global Security, Workplace Services, Community Impact & Investment, and Department of Archives and Records Management.
Michaune Tillman is a seasoned business executive with more than 25 years of domestic and international experience as an attorney and trusted advisor to companies. She is senior vice president and general counsel, leading the Law Department and serving as a key advisor and member of Corning’s Senior Leadership Team. She provides expert counsel to the Board of Directors and oversees a wide range of legal matters regarding Corning’s operations and strategic initiatives.
Ronald Verkleeren is senior vice president, Emerging Innovations Group. In this role, Verkleeren is responsible for connecting Corning’s extraordinary materials and process capabilities to new market opportunities and building new growth platforms and businesses from innovations in glass, ceramic, and other materials.
John Zhang was appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Corporate Development Officer in May 2025. In this role, Zhang is responsible for developing the company’s growth strategy, from partnerships to business-portfolio decisions. Zhang also has end-to-end responsibility for the Display, Mobile Consumer Electronics (MCE), and Life Sciences Market-Access Platforms (MAPs), while driving Corning’s growth across Asia.
