National Reporting Channels

Following implementation of the EU Whistleblower Directive (2019/1937), employees in the EU have the option to report suspected misconduct to external authorities if the report concerns a breach of EU laws as listed in the Directive (as specified below) or as defined by the respective national laws:

• public procurement
• financial services, products and markets, and prevention of money laundering and terrorist financing
• product safety and compliance
• transport safety
• protection of the environment
• radiation protection and nuclear safety
• food and feed safety, animal health and welfare
• public health
• consumer protection
• protection of privacy and personal data, and security of network and information systems
• breaches affecting the financial interests of the EU
• breaches relating to the EU internal market

However, we strongly recommend employees to make an internal report about suspected misconduct.

An internal report enables Corning to investigate, take necessary immediate actions and follow up in a timely manner. Internal reporting also allows Corning to maintain confidentiality and protection of reporters reporting in good faith.
