Free, Hands-On Fiber Optic Training

See the Light seminars bring the latest optical technology to a city near you. Our hands-on seminars are taught by experts, free of charge, throughout the United States on a variety of topics.

Whether you are new to the industry, a veteran field installer, an instructor or designer, our seminars offer something for everyone. These free, hands-on fiber optic classes allow students to work directly with equipment and materials ideal for installation, termination, troubleshooting and system design. BICSI and ETA credits may apply. FOA accepts Corning courses as credits toward FOA Specialists certifications.

We’ve developed a comprehensive, integrated training program to meet the needs of designers, installers and end users of fiber optic products. Courses include hands-on installation and design classes for data centers, wireless and local area networks.

Our certified training class material is written and taught by field-experienced technical experts. Our teaching style incorporates hands-on training and interactive discussion on the latest products and solutions. Our courses have been approved by industry-recognized certifications such as BICSI, ETA and FOA. Continuing education credits and certifications are available (additional fees may apply).
