“What I like the most about Corning is that it is an organization that values diversity and respects employees. Corning is an organization that is deeply committed to the community and that has translated to an organizational culture that is caring and responsible.”

I’ve always enjoyed challenging roles that allow me to expand my expertise and work across divisions and functional groups. That led me to join Corning Singapore in April 2016 as an analyst within the Global Logistics organization.

Corning has given me opportunities to learn and explore new technologies and use them to improve supply chain visibility. In my global role, I get to interact with people from all over the world when working on cross-functional and cross-divisional projects. I am fortunate to work for leaders that continually support my professional development, entrust me with greater responsibilities, and recognize my contributions and potential. My role at Corning is evolving and there are always new challenges to look forward to. In some sense, I find myself growing with the organization. I am also blessed to be working with colleagues that have now become my friends.

Whether it is in Corning, New York, where the company’s global headquarters is located, or in other plants and office locations worldwide, you’ll find a diverse workforce, working together in a close-knitted environment and playing varied roles to serve the larger community. Being born and raised in Singapore, I’m accustomed to living in a multi-cultural society and I’m proud to work for an organization that aligns with my beliefs.
