“I received full support from both my supervisor and my team, letting me be able to write a new chapter in my life"

I’ve been with Corning for 14 years. I joined Corning in 2000, left in 2005 but rejoined Corning in 2010. This is my 10th year since I came back to Corning. Corning is a great place to work, with the supportive environment and culture, people are able to find a great balance between work and life. 

Looking back in 2017, My team and I were challenged by multiple expansion projects in China and equally as challenged to have more engineers taking on stretch assignments and become a role of supervisor.    Personally, I was pregnant with my second child while pursuing my MBA degree. I was under pressure from work and from my life. 

Fortunately, I received full support from both my supervisor, Cameron, and my team. Cameron and I work together, we promoted 2 team members as supervisors to manage project and daily operation. This helped the 30-memeber team running quite smoothly. In Mid of Dec in 2017, My second child, a baby boy was born.  In June 2018, I received my MBA degree from Business School of Netherland .
