The Merger Agreement allows Corning to extend the offering period if the transactions between Corning and Dow Corning Corporation that were previously announced on December 11, 2015 are not yet closed. Stockholders who have already tendered their shares of common stock of AFOP do not have to re-tender their shares or take any other action as a result of the extension of the expiration date of the tender offer.
