CORNING, N.Y. | Corning Incorporated | febrero 03, 2016

Corning Incorporated’s (NYSE: GLW) Board of Directors today declared a quarterly dividend of $0.135 per share, a 12.5% increase in the company’s quarterly common stock dividend. The 2016 first-quarter dividend is payable on March 31, 2016, to shareholders of record on Feb. 25, 2016.

“When Corning introduced our new Strategy and Capital Allocation Framework last October, we said we planned to distribute more than $10 billion to shareholders by 2019. Today’s announcement is another step toward achieving this goal,” Wendell P. Weeks, chairman, chief executive officer and president, said. “Shareholders can expect to see us increase their dividend payments by at least 10% annually through 2019. We also plan to continue our aggressive share repurchase as part of the plan to sustain and increase shareholders’ value.”

Today’s action marks the fifth time since October of 2011 that the board of directors has increased the dividend.
