Manufacturing

When I was a student my goal was always to work at Corning. During my last year of college, I had the opportunity to be an intern in the process engineering department to later be hired as an industria engineer at Corning Plant 1. As a junior engineer I was a member of a program to increase product efficiency by identifying waste, opportunities, and improvements through a walk-in production floor. Two years later I went back to process engineering to participate in the ramp up tp a new product for two consecutive years. I even had the opportunity to transfer a few lines to Reynosa, increasing my experience and knowledge, which allowed me to keep growing professionally at Corning. As we are a global company, in 2005 I was reporting directly to a supervisor located in United States.

My career continues growing to the point where I now manage a team of supervisors.

Corning has been a huge professional growing platform for me. Through the years I had received many trainings that have supported my career as leader in one of the best companies in the city.
