Meet Esha. Esha works as a sales manager with Corning Life Sciences. She is involved in managing and driving sustainable business growth across key customers in the biopharmaceutical industry, diagnostic laboratories, and life science research institutes.
Esha believes Corning creates a healthy work culture that empowers employees to participate in new opportunities. She says, “The best learning at Corning has been to maintain Corning values and always follow the mantra of ‘We are together in all hurdles and hustles.’”
Esha says her family has always had faith in her abilities. Esha says, “My parents supported me to choose biomedical engineering and fulfill my dreams. Despite countless challenges, my parents supported me while I chose a career where women's participation is less.”
Esha’s greatest achievement has been innovating a device called real-time battery charging system by human walking, which enables mobile phone users to generate electricity to charge their devices. This academic project earned Esha national recognition as a Gandhian Youth Innovator. She has also published a white paper on the project in an international journal.
