Corning® Erlenmeyer Shake Flasks | Disposable Flasks for Shaker Cell Culture Applications and Storage | Corning

Corning disposable Erlenmeyer flasks are sterile, ready to use, and ideal for shaker culture applications and storage. All of our disposable Erlenmeyer flasks feature molded in graduations for accuracy, are certified nonpyrogenic, are individually packaged, and come with a vent cap option for continuous gas exchange while preventing leakage.

The showpiece of the Erlenmeyer family is the 5L Erlenmeyer, a vessel designed to aid in the scale-up suspension culture with space efficiency in mind. The 5L Erlenmeyer occupies the same footprint as the 3L Erlenmeyer while offering an additional 2.5L of working volume.

Product Features

Safely Fill, Sample, and Empty with Aseptic Transfer Caps

To protect precious cultures during liquid transfer, Corning offers aseptic transfer caps (ATCs) that fit all sizes of its disposable Erlenmeyer flasks. All ATCs have two ports with chemically resistant, heat sealable flexible tubing. The dip tube reaches to the bottom of the flask for complete transfer of liquids during manipulations. The transfer caps are available separately or pre-assembled on plain- or baffled-bottom flasks. All units arrive sterile, individually doubled-bagged, assembled, and ready-to-use. Customization is available.
