Nickel Plating Capabilities
Nickel Plating Capabilities
- Electroless Nickel Plating is a chemical process with distinct advantages over electroplating.
 - Problems associated with electroplating processes such as edge build up, uneven plating and partial plating are uncommon with Electroless Nickel Plating.
 - Corning offers high-quality plating in prototype or production volumes to meet your specific needs and schedule.
 - We can process parts up to 30" in diameter and 28" in depth, creating fixtures and masking solutions, as required.
 - Characteristics of our plating include:
- High wear resistance
 - Uniformity to .0002"
 - Ability to plate recesses and blind holes
 - High corrosion resistance
 - .0002" to .040" thicknesses
 - Produces visible quality optical finishes
 - Low porosity and pitting

 - Base materials include copper, brass, steel, and aluminum alloys
