CORNING, N.Y. | Corning Incorporated | September 24, 2015

Corning Incorporated (NYSE:GLW) hosted investors at the company’s offices in Corning, N.Y. and said the unexpected devaluation of the Chinese renminbi last month is expected to negatively impact third quarter earnings by about $0.01 per share, due to foreign exchange losses on certain balance sheet exposures.

The company will provide its third quarter results and expectations for the fourth quarter in its third-quarter earnings call in late October.
