Vibrant Community Grants: ARC Otsego

The ARC Otsego provides community programs to promote sustainability in the Oneonta, New York area

In celebration of its 65th anniversary, the Corning Incorporated Foundation announced 65 $1,000 Employee Vibrant Community Grants. The ARC Otsego is one of the recipients.

ARC Otsego creates opportunities and provides support to assist people with intellectual and other developmental disabilities in fulfilling their personal dreams and ambitions. The Main View Gallery and Studio provides ARC participants an opportunity to present their work as well as staff the gallery year-round. The gallery is complimented by The Center for Staff Expression that provides a creative outlet for 18-20 individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The ARC also established the Otsego ReUse Center which focuses on the sale and re use of bulky materials and household goods in the community. This grant will be for general operating support.
