Corning Announces FreeWireless Technology Seminar for Commercial Real Estate Applications
CORNING, N.Y. | Corning Incorporated | марта 11, 2014

Corning Incorporated (NYSE:GLW) today announced its nationwide seminar series entitled, “How the Building Industry can Profit from Forward-Looking Connectivity Strategies,” which will take place in March, April and May in 14 cities around the country. The seminar series will focus on wireless technology in the real estate market and is a joint presentation from Corning and RF Connect LLC.

The seminar will focus on how the ‘Internet of Things’ is impacting the bandwidth requirements in every building and how to best supply unlimited bandwidth to meet the current and future digital and wireless service needs of large-scale buildings. Attendees will learn how IT building services such as security, AV, Wi-Fi and cellular enhancement no longer need to be on separate networks.

“This seminar was built specifically to address the needs of today’s mobile society from a real estate developer’s perspective,” said Derek Johnston, senior director marketing, Corning Optical Communications Wireless. “The series will focus on the current wired and wireless infrastructure landscape and how developers can prepare for – and profit from – current and future needs of property owners and tenants.”
