Corning Optical Communications LLC, part of Corning Incorporated’s (NYSE:GLW) Telecommunications segment, introduces the fourth edition of its Enterprise Networks Core Products for Local Area Networks and Data Centers. The Core Products List is a condensed but comprehensive representation of the products our customers use most on a daily basis in the LAN and data center.
The fourth edition of the Core Products List includes pages in both the LAN and the data center sections dedicated to showcasing the latest innovations or enhancements made to Corning Optical Communications products. This edition also includes multiple product updates, including the new CCH Hardware and the new Pretium EDGE® Top of Rack Solutions, both introduced to the industry in February.
The three programs being introduced in the new Core Products List are:
• FASTCONNECT, which provides shipping within two weeks from receipt of order, if the item is not in stock.
• FASTSHIP, which provides expedited shipping on in-stock product assortments.
• The See the Light fiber optic training program, which hosts three to four-hour training seminars taught by experts on a variety of topics throughout the U.S. See the Light seminars offer hands-on fiber optic classes that allow students to work directly with equipment ideal for installation, termination, preterminated solutions and troubleshooting.
Visitors to Corning Optical Communications’ exhibit (booth #1101) at the 2012 BICSI Winter Conference & Exhibition in Orlando, Feb. 12-16, will have an opportunity to receive a hard copy of the Core Products List. Also, customers have a “self-serve” option at http://offers.corning.com/1-CoreList/, where they can choose to download an electronic PDF, request a printed copy or provide feedback about changes they would like to see.
