Do Tuan Dat, Ph.D

Senior Advisor, Former President and CEO, VABIOTECH

Do Tuan Dat is a senior consultant. In this position, he consults the R&D, quality management, production, and business activities for vaccine and biopharmaceutical products. He was a former President and CEO of Company for Vaccine and Biological Production (VABIOTECH).

Before working at VABIOTECH, he studied at Clinical Institute of Tropical and Infectious Diseases, Vietnam where he conducted research in the field of tropical and infectious diseases. He was a head and joined in some VABIOTECH product development teams such as anti-HCV diagnostic test, recombinant hepatitis B vaccine, hepatitis A vaccine, cell culture rabies vaccine, Hib conjugate vaccine, A/H5N1 and A/H1N1 influenza vaccines, dengue vaccine, Covid-19 vaccine, and combination vaccines. He holds a Ph.D in Virology from National Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology, Vietnam.

Paul C. Marks

Paul C. Marks is a lawyer in Duane Morris Vietnam LLC (Duane Morris).  Duane Morris is a registered Vietnam law firm and a wholly-owned subsidiary of the United States top 100 (by revenue) law firm Duane Morris LLP.  Paul practices in the areas of corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, foreign investment, international trade and compliance. He has deep experience in capital markets and especially debt capital markets transactions in China, South Asia and Southeast Asia. He advised the underwriters on landmark transactions including the Hong Kong Stock Exchange IPO of Agricultural Bank of China, the Philippine Stock Exchange IPO of Cebu Pacific Air, the Thai Stock Exchange IPO of Chevron subsidiary Star Petroleum and record-setting  bond issuances by Ctrip.com (China), Sinopec (China) and Pertamina (Indonesia).  He has advised on cross-border corporate, regulatory and commercial legal issues including advice on compliance with economic sanctions and anti-corruption laws.

Prior to becoming a lawyer, Paul served 21 years in the United States Army, retiring at the rank of lieutenant colonel. His military service included the administration of foreign military sales and assistance programs during assignments in the US Embassy in Phnom Penh, Cambodia and the US State Department Bureau of Political-Military Affairs. Paul holds a B.S. from the United States Military Academy at West Point, an M.A. from the University of London School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), where he was a George C. Marshall Scholar, and a J.D. from the Fordham University School of Law. He is qualified to practice law in the states of New York and Oregon and is a registered foreign lawyer in Vietnam.

Prof.Phan Manh Huong

Prof. Phan Manh Huong, commonly known as Manh-Huong Phan among his colleagues and students, is a globally recognized expert in advanced materials, with a focus on nanomaterials and sensor technologies for applications such as energy-efficient magnetic refrigeration, hyperthermia therapy, biodetection, and human healthcare monitoring. He earned his Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Bristol (UK) in 2006, following an M.S. in Applied Physics from Chungbuk National University (South Korea) in 2003, and a B.S. in Solid-State Physics from Vietnam National University – Hanoi (VNU-HN) in 2000. Since 2019, Prof. Huong has served as a Full Professor of Physics at the University of South Florida, where he previously held positions as Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, and Postdoctoral Researcher. He also completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Bristol (2006–2007) and began his research career at the Center for Materials Science, VNU-HN (2000–2001).

His outstanding contributions have been recognized through numerous honors, including an American Physical Society (APS) Fellow (2025), an Honorary Doctorate from VNU-HN (2021), three USF Outstanding Faculty Research Achievement Awards (2017, 2019, 2021), the USF Outstanding Graduate Faculty Mentor Award (2018), and a Certificate of Merit for the Advancement of Physical Sciences in Vietnam from the Minister of Science and Technology in 2021. Since 2020, he has consistently ranked among the World’s Top 1% of scientists in his field. Prof. Huong is a highly sought-after speaker, regularly delivering plenary, keynote, and invited lectures at major international conferences such as MMM, ICM, APS, MRS, INTERMAG, TMS, ISAMMA, and IWAMD. He has also served as Conference Chair and Organizing Committee Chair for numerous international conferences on magnetism, nanomaterials, and nanotechnology.

Ameya Bhangle

Ameya Bhangle is the Director of Strategy for Corning International, leading strategic planning to drive growth in global markets across EMEA, India, Japan, Latin America, and Southeast Asia. Since joining Corning in 2017, he has held roles of increasing responsibility in the company’s Optical Communications business, including managing a pivotal Program Management Office initiative, developing global strategies for the optical fiber and cable business, and overseeing operations for the indoor optical cabling portfolio in EMEA.

Previously, Ameya worked as a strategy consultant, managing international projects across the USA, Europe, and India. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, where he was a LeBaron-McArthur-Ellis Fellow, and a Bachelor's in Information Technology from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai. Ameya, based in Berlin, Germany, is also a member of The Conference Board’s Strategy & Transformation Council in EMEA.
