Corning Incorporated (NYSE: GLW) announces that its Pretium EDGE® Solutions recently received the Datacentre Facility Product of the Year at the Datacentre Solutions Awards 2013 in London.

Pretium EDGE Solutions feature Corning® ClearCurve® optical fiber and is a cabling infrastructure solution for data centers, consisting of optical trunks, harnesses, modules, and housings. This innovative solution addresses the concerns of data center owners and operators, helping them increase revenue, reduce costs, and minimize risk.

The award category included a range of leading technologies in data center infrastructure management, physical security, building and/or the cabling industry sector. Products were evaluated on their ability to demonstrate a competitive advantage and a clear return on investment for users. The awards were announced on May 23.
