Designed for demanding applications including fiber optic gyroscopes, probes, sensors and miniaturized components, Corning's high numerical aperture (NA) polarization maintaining fibers deliver extremely high birefringence, low insertion loss, and excellent dimensional uniformity.

Corning PANDA PM Reduced Clad Specialty Fibers
Designed with 80 micron cladding which allows extremely tight fiber coiling with low bend loss. Corning PANDA RC fiber enables a range of miniature system designs.

Corning PANDA PM Flame Retardant Specialty Fibers
Corning PM Flame Retardant Specialty Fibers are 400-micron UV-coated fibers buffered to 900 microns with a flame retardant polyester elastomer. The buffer is a UL-recognized component plastic with a flammability classification of V-O in accordance with UL94. In addition,the buffered fiber has a VW-1 end product flammability classification in accordance with UL1581.
