David Loeber is business director of the Large Cover Glass business in Corning Incorporated Specialty Materials. He is responsible for existing customer relationships, as well as developing new business opportunities in display and digital signage, touch-integrated displays, electronic white boards and other large-size Corning® Gorilla® Glass applications.
Loeber joined Corning in 1997, and has held positions in the management and development of business and technology. Loeber built the technology organization then relocated to Taiwan to ensure the successful manufacturing transfer to the contract manufacturer. Loeber holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from New Mexico State University. He received a master’s degree and a doctorate in electrical engineering from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. He is currently located in Tokyo.
