New 24 Well Transwell inserts aseptically precoated with Cultrex
® Basement Membrane Extract (BME) by Trevigen, Inc. are now available with 8.0 µm pore polycarbonate membranes. Cultrex Basement Membrane Extract is a soluble form of basement membrane purified from Engelbreth-Holm-Swarm (EHS) tumor. The major components of the BME include laminin I, collagen IV, entactin, and heparin sulfate proteoglycan.
- Ideal for cell invasion assays and evaluating immune responses, wound healing and angiogenesis
- Helps measure cell migration in vitro in response to chemoattractants and/or inhibiting compounds.
- Aseptically coated with BME purified from Engelbreth-Holm-Swarm (EHS) tumors
- 12 precoated inserts per 24 well plate, 2 plates per case
- Cell migration can be measured using Calcein AM or other staining techniques. (See Instructions for Use.)
