Corning® Epoxide Coated Slides are designed for covalent attachment of unmodified or amino-modified short oligonucleotides (~30-mer), as well as long oligonucleotides (>50-mer) and cDNA.
Epoxide Coated Slides have a uniform coating of a 3-glycidoxypropyltrimethoxysilane epoxide chemistry that enables covalent attachment of unmodified and amino-modified oligonucleotides to the glass substrate (Figure 1). The coating is applied on both sides of the slides using a proprietary process under tightly controlled manufacturing conditions. The slides offer a printing surface of unmatched cleanliness, high DNA-binding capacity, uniformity, and stability.
