Precautionary Steps: Wear safety glasses with side shields. Wear leather or cotton work
gloves. Wear loose fitting, long sleeved clothing. If OSHA dust limits are exceeded, use
NIOSH approved dust respirator.
Emergency and First Aid Procedures: When inhaled, remove to fresh air, drink water to
clear throat and blow nose to remove fibers and dust. For eye contact, do not rub eyes as
dust particles may scratch eyes. Flush with large amounts of water for 5-15 minutes. For
skin contact, wash with soap and water. If irritation persists, contact a physician.
