Stripwell™ Low Volume Microplates

Corning’s new Stripwell™ Low Volume Microplates are designed with one-half the well area of a “regular” 8-well strip, providing a much greater surface to volume ratio. Only 30% of the antibody volume normally used in a standard size well is needed to coat the well of a Stripwell™ Low Volume Microplate. In addition it only takes half the volume of reagent required to perform the reaction.

This translates to tremendous cost savings!

Features

Corning® Stripwell™ Low Volume Microplates contain twelve 1 x 8 strips preassembled in an “egg crate” style strip holder. The flat bottom strips are designed to easily break apart and once separated can be repositioned back in the holder.

• Total well volume: 190 µL
• Recommended working volume: 50 µL to 125 µL
• Same height/path length as a standard strip
• Standard 96-well center to center spacing
