Clean Room Packaging for Stripette® Serological Pipets
Corning maintains the industry’s highest standards in manufacturing serological
pipets. In order to meet the increasingly more stringent clean room
requirements Corning now offers triple-bagged pipets packages specifically for
use in clean rooms.

Triple-bagged, gamma irradiated to 10-6 SAL and requiring no decontamination
spray, Corning’s clean room packaged pipets are a safety and convenience
revolution. This extraordinary packaging is ideal for cell-based vaccine and
drug production facilities or other laboratory clean rooms.
| Contained in a twist-tied liner (Bag 1), the entire case contents of
triple-bagged pipets can easily be removed from the corrugated box for clean
area storage. |
At the first stage clean room the liner (Bag 1) is opened and the double-bagged
inner packs with their sterile barriers (Bag 2) are removed. |
At the second stage clean room the outer sterile barrier (Bag 2) is opened and
the inner sterile barrier (Bag 3) is removed. |
At the point of use the inner sterile barrier (Bag 3) is opened and the
individually wrapped pipets are removed |
