Cultrex® Basement Membrane Extract
New 24 Well Transwell inserts aseptically precoated with Cultrex® Basement
Membrane Extract (BME) by Trevigen,
Inc. are now available with 8.0 µm pore polycarbonate membranes.
Cultrex Basement Membrane Extract is a soluble form of basement membrane
purified from Engelbreth-Holm-Swarm (EHS) tumor. The major components of the
BME include laminin I, collagen IV, entactin, and heparin sulfate proteoglycan.

Ideal for cell invasion assays and evaluating immune responses, wound healing
and angiogenesis

Helps measure cell migration in vitro in response to chemoattractants and/or
inhibiting compounds.

Aseptically coated with BME purified from Engelbreth-Holm-Swarm (EHS) tumors

12 precoated inserts per 24 well plate, 2 plates per case

Cell migration can be measured using Calcein AM or other staining techniques.
