Corning® Low Volume 384 Well Solid Black Flat Bottom Microplates

The new Corning® low volume 384 well solid black flat bottom microplates reduce the cells, media and reagents required to run assays by approximately 50% compared to standard 384 well microplates.

They are available in standard tissue culture treated surface for cell based assays and NBS™ Surface or untreated surface for homogeneous assays.

This new 384 well solid black flat bottom microplate requires as little as 5 µL of medium per well for culturing cells.

Features:

Round well design with a solid black flat bottom reduces wicking
50 µL total well volume, with recommended working volume of only 5-40 µL
High base plate design is compatible with automated handling (gripping) and bar coding
Validated by Molecular Devices for their FLIPR reader
Corning® 384 well polystyrene microplates have plate dimensions (length x width x height) of 127.76 x 85.48 x 12.19 mm that meet microplate industry standards.

Corning® Low Volume 384 Well Solid Black Flat Bottom Microplates, Tissue Culture Treated
These microplates are surface treated for enhanced cell attachment and are ideal for miniaturized 384 well fluorescent cell-based assays.
Corning® Low Volume 384 Well Solid Black Flat Bottom NBS™ Microplates
These microplates have a proprietary nonbinding surface (NBS™) treatment technology that creates a nonionic hydrophilic surface (polyethylene oxide-like) that minimizes molecular interactions and binding to the surface.
Corning® Low Volume 384 Well Solid Black Flat Bottom Microplates, Untreated
These microplates are left untreated which gives a hydrophobic, medium binding surface suitable primarily for the immobilization of large molecules, such as antibodies, that have large hydrophobic regions that can interact with the surface (binding capacity of approximately 100 to 200ng IgG/cm²).
